To ensure we stay in hyper growth mode, we are looking for a world-class Alliances Manager to join our sales team in Helsinki. Together with the rest of the Partnership Team, you will be responsible for structuring and scaling our global partner program.

This is a new role at Smarp and a really important part of our implementation of the new business sales strategy for next year. As an Alliances Manager your main responsibility is to identify the partner companies with the highest potential and make them a commercial success! In practise, that means:

  • Drive revenue through partner referrals

  • Acquire and onboard new partners (in alignment with Smarp partner strategy)

  • Manage the partner portfolio

  • Support the partner success by developing our current partner program and its main elements e.g. education and lead generation

The main mission is to create actual financial results but we would also want you to participate in developing the partner program frameworks. We believe that a person who’s very business-orientated and KPI-driven will be successful in this role: It’s highly important to understand how to drive business to closing. Your success is measured on how well you hit the given targets. You’ll be working closely with the management, customer success, marketing and technical team to improve our product and the sales process, we want you to contribute as well!

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver on partner program sales targets
    • Actively contact and evaluate new partner leads (inbound/outbound) and manage partner pipeline

    • Coordinate referral lead distribution from partner to Smarp sales team and ensure ROI

  • Drive customer events with partners in key markets
  • Day-to-day tasks of partnership management (training, reviews, webinars, CRM etc) as well as educating partners in our consultative sales approach
  • Participate in creating, implementing and optimizing the structure of our partner program
  • Ensure common vision between Smarp and all official partners
  • Create and update partner sales & marketing collateral

Your experience, skills and knowledge:

  • Proven track record in generating revenue - please share some concrete examples
  • Experience and proven success in one or more of the following (ideally all): Managing partner programs, new business development, B2B sales, consulting, (Enterprise SaaS, digital media/communications/social media is a plus) -
  • An outstanding relationship builder, with excellent presentation, persuasion, communication and closing skills
  • You have helped partners realise a new vision and adopt business change
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation and energy to hunt and close new partners
  • Ownership of your work, the results you deliver and you are happy juggling multiple tasks and priorities - you have exceptional time management skills and you don't believe in missing deadlines
  • You possess creativity, spontaneity and ability to learn and adjust on the go - you are an expert problem solver
  • You have great teamwork skills and willingness to have fun!
  • English is the company’s official language but native level skills in German, French or Spanish are seen as an advantage
